Where is interracial dating most common

Minelle Mahtani, an associate professor in human geography and journalism at the University of Toronto Scarborough, wrote the book Mixed Race Amnesia: Resisting the Romanticization of Multiraciality in Canada.

April has been the start of news that I’ve been expecting for over a decade.

Among blacks, men are much more likely than women to marry someone of a different race.

Fully a quarter of black men who got married in 2013 married someone who was not black.

They lived in Virginia, one of the states that still banned “miscegenation” – the derogatory term used to describe interracial coupling – so they needed to travel to the District of Columbia to be officially recognized as a couple.

They were married in “Whiteness.” Although the couple initially pled guilty, they later decided to dispute the law, and took their fight all the way to the Supreme Court.
